Position : Operations Manager - Juba Industrial Area

We are looking for an Operations Manager.
The Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operational activities of the organization or a specific department. The role ensures efficient processes, compliance with policies, and alignment with strategic objectives, while managing staff and resources effectively.
Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate operational activities across departments or projects.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and procurement to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with department heads and teams to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.
  • Prepare reports, forecasts, and operational analyses for senior management.
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise operational staff.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, or related field.
  • Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.

Experience:

  • 5–10 years of experience in operations management or related roles.
  • Experience in the sector of operation (e.g., humanitarian, oil & gas, logistics) preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management, ERP, or operational software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

  • Office-based role with possible field visits.
  • May require long hours during peak operational periods.
  • Exposure to high-pressure situations and remote or challenging environments depending on the sector.
