Position : Medical Officers - Lagos
We are looking for a Medical Officers.
Responsibilities :

Providing Medical Care:
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, illnesses, and injuries.
- Provide primary care, routine check-ups, emergency care, and specialized treatment as needed.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and other medical interventions as appropriate.

Medical Assessments:
- Conduct physical examinations and health assessments for individuals or groups.
- Review patient histories and perform diagnostic tests.
- Monitor the progression of illnesses or injuries, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Preventative Health Care:
- Advise on and implement preventive measures (vaccinations, screenings, health education).
- Promote wellness programs and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Educate patients on self-care and prevention of common health issues.

Managing Medical Emergencies:
- Respond to medical emergencies, stabilizing patients and coordinating evacuation or further care if necessary.
- Lead emergency medical teams, providing guidance on appropriate medical interventions.

Supervising and Leading Medical Teams:
- Oversee the work of other healthcare professionals (nurses, medics, and administrative staff).
- Manage and organize healthcare delivery within medical facilities (e.g., military clinics, field hospitals).
- Train and mentor junior medical personnel.

Record Keeping and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and medical standards when documenting health conditions and treatments.

Medical Research (optional in some roles):
- Conduct medical research to improve health practices and outcomes, particularly in military or government settings.
- Stay updated on the latest medical trends and treatments.

Administrative and Operational Roles:
- Participate in the planning of healthcare programs or missions.
- Ensure the proper use and management of medical supplies and equipment.

Advising on Health Policies:
- Advise senior officials on matters related to the health of personnel, including fitness to deploy, health risk assessments, and public health policies.
