Position : Machine Operator - Carletonville, Gauteng

Sibanye Stillwater is seeking skilled and reliable Machine Operators to join our operations team on a contract basis. The ideal candidates will have proven experience in handling Front End Loaders, Excavators, or similar heavy-duty machinery used in mining industry.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Front End Loaders, Excavators, or other material-handling machines safely and efficiently.
  • Load and offload cargo, bulk materials, and products within yard and mining environments.
  • Conduct pre-start inspections and routine maintenance checks on equipment.
  • Assist with yard organization, stacking, and movement of stock or containers.
  • Follow site-specific health, safety, and operational procedures at all times.
  • Report defects, incidents, and irregularities to supervisors promptly.

Requirements:

  • Valid Operator Certificate / License (Front End Loader / Excavator).
  • At least 2 years of operating experience in mining environment.
  • Must be safety-conscious, punctual, and a strong team player.
