Position : Human Resource Manager - Lusaka
We are looking for a Human Resource Manager.
The Human Resource Manager will be responsible for planning, leading, and managing all human resource functions of the organization. The role focuses on recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership skills and 5–10 years of proven experience in human resource management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Management
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Advise management on workforce planning, organizational development, and change initiatives
- Review, develop, and enforce HR policies and procedures
Recruitment & Talent Management
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes
- Develop and implement talent retention and succession planning strategies
- Ensure effective manpower planning
Employee Relations
- Maintain positive employee relations and promote a productive work environment
- Handle disciplinary processes, grievances, and conflict resolution in line with company policy and labor laws
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies
Performance Management
- Design and oversee performance management and appraisal systems
- Support managers in goal setting and performance evaluations
- Monitor employee performance and recommend improvement plans
Training & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate staff development programs
- Implement leadership and skills development initiatives
- Evaluate training effectiveness
Compensation, Benefits & Payroll Support
- Manage compensation and benefits structures
- Ensure fairness and competitiveness in remuneration
- Coordinate payroll processes where applicable
Compliance & HR Administration
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Prepare HR reports and analytics for management review

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, IPMZ) is an added advantage
- Minimum of 5–10 years’ relevant experience in Human Resource Management, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
