Food Technologist R&D and Production - Lilongwe

With a commitment to innovation and excellence, we continue to expand our presence in the region.We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Food Technologist R&D and Production to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in Research & Development (R&D), Production, Quality Control (QC), and Raw Material Sourcing to ensure the highest standards of product quality and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities :
Research & Development (R&D):

• Innovate and develop new food products while improving existing ones.
• Conduct trials to optimise recipes, production processes, and product shelf life.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation.

Production:

• Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot production challenges while implementing effective solutions.

Quality Control (QC):

• Monitor and maintain product quality across all stages of production.
• Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC).
• Perform audits, inspections, and reviews to maintain and improve quality systems.

Raw Material Sourcing:

• Evaluate and source high-quality raw materials at optimal costs.
• Build and sustain reliable supplier relationships for consistent supply.
• Assess sustainability and compliance in raw material procurement.
