Position : Fitter (Mechanical) for (Manufacturing Plant) - Ermelo

An opportunity for experienced Fitter (Mechanical) are required to support heavy plant manufacturing equipment maintenance and reliability. Permanent employment based in Mpumalanga (Manufacturing Industrial Region). 
Responsibilities :

  • Maintain and repair gearboxes, bearings, feed systems and rotating equipment
  • Support presses, dryers, conveyors and utilities
  • Conduct shutdown and breakdown maintenance
  • Work with engineering and planning units to sustain operations
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality work standards

Required profile for job ad : Fitter (Mechanical) for (Manufacturing Plant) - Ermelo

  • Qualified Mechanical Fitter / Millwright (Red Seal preferred) or equivalent
  • 5+ years industrial plant mechanical experience
  • Strong fault-finding and heavy plant skills
  • Welding and fabrication advantageous
  • Safety culture and teamwork
  • Traceable & contactable references
  • Local residency or relocation required
