Position : Finance Manager - Accra

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Manager with over 10 years of progressive financial management experience to lead financial planning, reporting, compliance, and business performance optimization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving financial sustainability, supporting executive decision-making, and ensuring strong financial governance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with organizational goals
  • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management and the board
  • Lead long-term financial planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis
  • Support business growth initiatives, investments, and expansion plans

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Oversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial reports
  • Manage budgeting processes and monitor performance against budgets
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions

Accounting & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP, tax laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee audit processes (internal and external) and manage audit relationships
  • Ensure proper internal controls, risk management, and financial governance
  • Supervise statutory filings, tax returns, and regulatory submissions

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital optimization
  • Oversee banking relationships, loan facilities, and financing arrangements
  • Monitor foreign exchange exposure and treasury risks where applicable

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
  • Set performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations
  • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Improve financial systems, policies, and procedures for efficiency and scalability
  • Lead or support ERP and financial system implementations
  • Automate reporting and strengthen data-driven decision-making

Required profile for job ad : Finance Manager - Accra

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent) is mandatory
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in finance/accounting, with at least 4–5 years in a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and tax regulations
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
