Position : Duty Manager - Karas
Ready to trade the city traffic for granite vistas? Klein-Aus Vista is looking for a hands-on Duty Manager (or couple) to join our family.
The Job:
- You will assist management to run the daily operations. You are the link between our guests, our staff, and the management team.
What you need:
- Driver’s License is essential (PDP preferred).
- Computer Literate (Experience with Innkeeper/Cimso is a bonus).
- Languages: English & Afrikaans (German is a win!).
- Attitude: A problem-solver who loves the outdoors and isn't afraid of hard work.
The Details:
- Shifts: You will be working on either one of the 9 hour shifts, either; Morning (start 05:30) or Evening (start 14:00) shifts.
- Accommodation: Available (options to be discussed).
- Meals: Self-catering (Not provided).
- Citizenship: Namibian Citizen / Permanent Resident.

Principal Requirements:
The person needs to be/ have :
- Organizational and supervising skills
- Computer literate and to be able to learn Innkeeper/Cimso- effective lodge management software
- Knowledge on how to work in a team, promoting team spirit on a daily basis
- Eye for cleanliness and style (according to KAV design and theme)
- Knowledge on stock control mechanisms
- People skills (guests and staff)
- Respectable, senior authority
- Drivers’ License (preferably PDP)
- Free of addictions (alcohol and drugs)- Preferably being a non- smoker
- Able to accept the authority of the company owners
- Able to work flexible working hours (morning or evening shifts or split shift if requested)
- Good communication skills (face-to-face, telephone, email)
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans (German desirable)
- Problem solving abilities and able to handle stressful situations
- Stable personality
- Trust-worthy and free of criminal records
- Committed to the job and showing initiative with constant product improvement
- Being a Namibian citizen
