Position : Data Scientist - Accra

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. This role involves data mining, building predictive models, conducting statistical analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve business problems using data-driven approaches.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.
  • +5 years of proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data manipulation tools.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and predictive modelling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is an added advantage.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
