Position : Data Analyst - Gaborone

We are looking for a Data Analyst.
Job Overview
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets to support data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and validate large datasets from various sources.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Prepare and present analytical findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and support strategic projects.
  • Monitor data quality and implement improvements where necessary.
  • Build and maintain automated data pipelines and reporting tools.
  • Assist in forecasting, modeling, and statistical analysis when required.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
    • +5 years proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
    • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
    • Experience with statistical analysis and reporting.
    • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is an added advantage.
    • Excellent analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain data insights to non-technical audiences.
    • High attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
