Position : Credit Controller - Sandton

A leading hospitality and travel group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Controller to join their finance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working with numbers, processes, and people — this role is for you.
Responsibilities :

  • Accurate allocation of payments received across various channels
  • Actively collect payments in line with payment terms
  • Assist consultants and related parties with Tourplan queries
  • Review Debtors Age Analysis fortnightly and provide detailed feedback
  • Attend monthly debtors review meetings with reservations managers
  • Send invoices, account statements, and payment reminders to agents
  • Escalate and resolve queries in line with internal processes
  • Conduct monthly debtors reviews with Sales and DMC Managers and Directors
  • Review unallocated cash weekly
  • Debtors and weekly bank reconciliations
  • Month-end processes
  • Ad hoc finance duties as required

Required profile for job ad : Credit Controller - Sandton

  • Strong Excel skills
  • Sound understanding of general accounting principles
  • Experience preparing debtors reconciliations and resolving queries
  • Experience in a debtor’s department within the hospitality industry (advantageous)
  • Knowledge of Tourplan (advantageous)
  • High attention to detail
  • Determination and patience
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Strong organisational and filing skills
  • Team player
  • Deadline-driven and able to work under pressure 
  • Positive, collaborative, energetic self-starter who takes initiative
