Project Manager – Construction
A high-end construction firm is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver construction projects from planning through completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating site execution, managing timelines and budgets, ensuring quality and safety compliance, and aligning all stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
This role requires a seasoned construction professional with strong leadership, technical understanding, and hands-on project delivery experience.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution

  • Plan, manage, and oversee construction projects from initiation to handover.
  • Interpret and manage project execution based on approved blueprints, drawings, specifications, BoQs, and schedules.
  • Coordinate site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to approved quality standards.

Site & Team Management

  • Provide leadership and direction to site supervisors, foremen, and project teams.
  • Oversee multiple work fronts and ensure effective sequencing of construction activities.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.
  • Resolve site issues and technical challenges efficiently.

Quality Assurance & Control

  • Ensure construction works meet company standards, contractual requirements, and regulatory approvals.
  • Review and approve work stages, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure proper construction methods, materials, and workmanship throughout the project lifecycle.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce project health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Ensure full compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Lead safety planning, toolbox talks, and risk mitigation strategies.

Cost Control & Resource Management

  • Monitor project budgets, costs, and cash flow.
  • Coordinate material procurement, delivery schedules, and usage to minimize waste.
  • Track variations, cost impacts, and report financial status to management.

Scheduling & Progress Monitoring

  • Develop, manage, and track project schedules and milestones.
  • Identify risks, delays, or deviations early and implement corrective measures.
  • Ensure accurate progress reporting and forecasting.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

  • Prepare and submit regular project reports (progress, costs, risks, and manpower).
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
  • Act as the key liaison between management, consultants, clients, and site teams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or in a similar senior role within the construction industry.
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and manage construction blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proven experience managing multiple subcontractors and site teams.
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to drive is required (own vehicle is an advantage).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, cost control, and quality management.
