Position : Compliance Manager - Rift Valley

We are seeking a highly experienced Compliance Manager to lead and oversee the organization’s compliance functions. The role involves ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in compliance, risk management, and governance, with strong leadership and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s compliance framework and policies
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the organization remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments
  • Oversee internal investigations, reporting, and remediation of compliance issues
  • Provide guidance and training to staff on compliance and regulatory matters
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure processes meet compliance standards
  • Report to senior management and the board on compliance performance, risks, and mitigation measures
  • Manage relationships with regulators, auditors, and external consultants
  • Ensure documentation and records are maintained in accordance with regulatory and company standards

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • Master’s degree in Compliance, Law, Business Administration, or related discipline is preferred
  • 8–12 years of proven experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory roles
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and policies
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, corporate governance, and industry standards
  • Professional certifications such as CAMS, CRCM, CPA, or equivalent are an added advantage
