Position : Agribusiness Consultant /Manager - Harare

We are seeking a highly skilled Agribusiness Consultant Manager to lead advisory and consulting services across agricultural value chains. The role involves managing agribusiness projects, providing strategic guidance to clients, and supporting sustainable growth, profitability, and market access for agribusiness enterprises.
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage agribusiness consulting projects from inception to completion
  • Provide strategic advisory services to agribusinesses, cooperatives, SMEs, and agri-food companies
  • Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies, and value chain assessments
  • Develop agribusiness plans, investment proposals, and financial models
  • Supervise and mentor agribusiness consultants and field teams
  • Engage stakeholders including farmers, private sector players, donors, and government agencies
  • Support clients in improving productivity, sustainability, and market competitiveness
  • Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and policy briefs

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Economics, Business Management, or a related field
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in agribusiness consulting, advisory, or agri-food project management
  • Strong knowledge of agricultural value chains, markets, and agribusiness finance
  • Proven experience managing teams and multiple projects
  • Excellent analytical, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
